In order to inculcate research aptitude in minds of M. Sc. chemistry students and to attract brighter students towards research, S.P. College - Department of Chemistry has started organizing Dr. T. R. Ingle Intercollegiate lecture competition since February 2004.
The competition received a good response from the students and we had about 15-18 students from various colleges participating in the year 2005-2006. Ingle family members were satisfied with our activity and promised to donate Rs. 2,00,000/- and Rs. 10,000/- for renovation of research lab.
